The Dinosaurs of Waterhouse Hawkins

This week we read The Dinosaurs of Waterhouse Hawkins in reading. In the story, it explains the steps Waterhouse went through to create his life size dinosaurs. This went along perfectly with the sequencing skill we were working on this week. The students had to first reasearch their dinosaur, then sketch it, and finally create a small clay model. They worked hard and did an AWESOME job (as you can tell from the pictures). Who knows, I may have a few future paleontologists on my hands!!

  1. Blacksmithes are important because without a blacksmith who would you go to repair items that are made of iron. Blacksmiths made tools, rims for wheels and many other useful items.
